Karting Registration staff work under the direction of the Karting Operations Manager and works closely with the karting staff. Most work will be performed indoors in a controlled environment, but karting registration staff may be exposed to hot, cold, and inclement weather conditions.


  1. Excellent customer service skills

  4. Familiarity with computers/tablet devices

  1. Greet and direct patrons when entering the Karting registration room

  2. Operate ClubSpeed POS system

  3. Process debit, credit, and cash transactions

  4. Request cash drop/exchange as necessary to maintain appropriate cash levels

  5. Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shift

  6. Sell karting sessions and upsell when possible

  7. Sell Pitt Race merchandise and other karting products

  8. Maintain inventory at appropriate levels

  9. Assist participants with registration process

  10. Become familiar with the Pitt Race calendar of events

  11. Direct participants to appropriate facility locations and answer questions as necessary

  12. Answer facility phones as necessary in a professional and cordial manner

  13. Forward calls to appropriate department or manager

  14. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner

  15. Adhere to Pitt Race dress code

  16. Ensure compliance with safety and security standards
